INFORMATION: Created in 1905, this engraving was published by Vollard in 1913. After printing, the copper was scratched and Paul Fort engraved the following note at the bottom, in reverse: "29 Oct 1913 / Crossed out". Several proofs, including this copy, were then made from the scratched copper.
