Privacy Policy
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to define how personal data and cookies are processed by ART.PARIS.
Personal data
ART.PARIS establishes strong and lasting relationships with its Users, based on mutual trust. Ensuring the security and confidentiality of its Users' personal data is a priority for ART.PARIS.
ART.PARIS collects and uses the User's personal data in compliance with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 known as "Informatique et Libertés" (hereinafter referred to as "Law No. 78-17") and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR").
ART.PARIS collects personal data directly from its customers when they create their account or during the ordering process. Each personal data collection form clearly states the mandatory information to be entered for creating an account or placing an order.
User data is mainly used to enable their navigation on the Site and to ensure the monitoring and smooth running of the Order (in particular payment, deliveries, invoicing, accounting).
Alternatively, they may be used to prevent and combat fraud (hacking, anti-money laundering, etc.), personalize requests for information made by the User, improve navigation on the Site, communicate with Users (order tracking, restocking, alerts, newsletters or promotional materials, etc.).
In all cases, ART.PARIS ensures that the processing implemented is necessary for the achievement of its legitimate interest and that it does not harm the interests and fundamental rights of Users.
The data processed by ART.PARIS are as follows:
- name, first name, date of birth, postal address, telephone number, and email address;
- order history.
All personal data collected and processed by ART.PARIS is strictly confidential. It may be temporarily and securely transferred to third parties as part of the execution of the Order placed by the User via the Site (in particular to the payment service provider or the transport company) or in order to respond to an injunction from legal authorities.
Personal data is kept for as long as the User has an account on the site or for a legal period of 10 years for documents relating to order management and invoicing.
In accordance with applicable legislation, ART.PARIS Users have the following rights:
- right of access (article 15 GDPR) and rectification (article 16 GDPR), updating, completeness of User data;
- right to block or erase Users' personal data (Article 17 of the GDPR), when they are inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, out of date, or whose collection, use, communication or conservation is prohibited;
- right to withdraw consent at any time (article 13-2c GDPR);
- right to limit the processing of User data (article 18 GDPR);
- right to object to the processing of User data (article 21 GDPR);
- right to the portability of data that Users have provided, when this data is subject to automated processing based on their consent or on a contract (article 20 GDPR);
If the User wishes to know how ART.PARIS uses his or her personal data, request to rectify it or object to its processing, the User may contact ART.PARIS in writing, providing proof of identity, at the following address: ART.PARIS / F Poinsot – 11 rue Erard, 75012 Paris, indicating the changes he or she wishes to make to his or her personal data.
Requests for deletion of personal data will be subject to the obligations imposed on ART.PARIS by law, particularly with regard to the retention or archiving of documents.
Cookies
When Users browse the Site, ART.PARIS may install various cookies on the storage space of their device (tablet, mobile phone, computer, etc.). The User's consent to the use of these cookies on their device is collected by ART.PARIS via a pop-up window or similar device.
In order to allow the User to avoid having to identify themselves each time they access the Site during the same day, except for the first access, ART.PARIS uses session cookies. These files, stored on the computer, allow the User to be identified each time they connect to the Site.
Furthermore, in order to improve the Site, ART.PARIS uses audience measurement cookies such as the number of pages viewed, the number of visits, visitor activity on the Site and their frequency of return using the services of external providers including Shopify and Google Analytics.
These cookies only allow the establishment of statistical studies on the traffic of visitors to the Site, the results of which are completely anonymous.
