INFORMATION: Stencil made in 1954 based on a costume design painted by Matisse for the ballet "l'Etrange Farandole" (music by Dimitri Shostakovich) staged by the Monaco Opera based on choreography by Léonide Massine at the Palais de Chaillot, Paris, on June 5, 1939.
