INFORMATION: This family of artists, led by Gabriel, the father, and his sons Adam and Nicolas, produced a considerable number of engravings, mostly of their own invention. Imbued with numerous influences, whether Nordic, Italian, or Parisian, they consist of a wide variety of subjects: pastorals, seascapes, landscapes decorated with ruined classical architecture or picturesque villages, or even topographical landscapes.
A copy of this work appears under inventory number TH.99.15.3689.(1) in the collection of the Musée des Beaux Arts de Nancy.
