INFORMATION: Bernard Buffet made several retouches in black pastel, notably on the road that descends on the left of the engraving, thus reinforcing certain features. These modifications also appear on the numbered edition of this engraving. We can therefore assume that the Artist's Proofs correspond to the first state of the engraving.
