INFORMATION: Lithograph created by Chagall in 1962 for the portfolio "Stained Glass Windows of Jerusalem," published by Sauret. This portfolio traces Chagall's work on the twelve stained glass windows designed for the synagogue of the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.
Simeon or Shim'on is the second of the twelve sons of Jacob and Leah in Genesis. Simeon died at the age of 120 the same year that Joseph died.
