INFORMATION: The Chagall Bible was published by Tériade in 1956, completing a project initiated by Vollard in 1930. Chagall engraved the copperplates between 1931 and 1939 in the studio of Maurice Potin. The project was interrupted by the war.
The copy presented here, from the Tériade archives, is one of the rare proofs printed in 1931/1939.
