The leaflet bears the publisher's stamp and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix.
The first edition of this English poster was created in 1894 for the Prince of Wales Theatre's play "A Gaiety Girl".

Lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Chaix printing house in 1895. It was part of this eponymous portfolio (plate no. 4) which represented the reproductions of the most
beautiful
illustrated posters by the great artists of the time.

Excellent condition, a tiny foxing in the lower margin of the sheet
