INFORMATION: These silkscreen prints were published by the Sonnabend Gallery (Paris) around 1967, on the occasion of the major exhibition of Warhol's paintings on the same theme. Rare period document in very small print run
In the spirit of the works created by Warhol for the series "13 most wanted", this serigraph is presented with a central fold like a criminal file:
- on the first cover appear the file number "2357" and Warhol's signature in the plate
- the open file reveals the portrait of the "most wanted" printed in silkscreen
- the back of the file bears the stamp "(c) Andy Warhol" and the numbering of the work /90
