The lithograph is authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix.
The first edition was created in 1885 for the Gala performance at the Théâtre de l'Opéra (January 26, 1886).
Lithograph published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Chaix printing house in 1897. It was part of the "Les maîtres de l'Affiche" portfolio which represented reproductions of the most beautiful
illustrated posters by the great artists of the time.
In good condition, the sheet has some foxing marks in the margins
