The leaflet bears the publisher's stamp and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix.
The first edition was created in 1895 for the American magazine "Lippincott's Magazine" in Philadelphia.
The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Chaix printing house in 1895. It was part of this eponymous portfolio (plate no. 44) which represented the reproductions of the most
beautiful
illustrated posters by the great artists of the time.
In very good condition, the sheet has some foxing in the margins (see photo)
