INFORMATION: Bernard Buffet made several retouches in black pastel, notably the edges of the sidewalks and the shops at the bottom of the buildings, thus reinforcing certain features. These modifications also appear on the numbered edition of this engraving. We can therefore assume that the Artist's Proofs correspond to the first state of the engraving.
