INFORMATION: This rare engraving was created by Soulages to illustrate the inaugural speech of his friend Jean Laude, published by Fata Morgana in 1974 in an edition of 50. This is a rare workshop copy with wide margins.
Note that this engraving is particularly interesting in Soulages' work because it is the only one (along with reference #24 with which it is paired) which uses the aquatint technique.
Very good condition, small defects on the edge of the sheet
