He also made some ornaments and a double page drawing in colored chalk depicting a corrida in a bull ring. (...) Duhamel suggested to his friend Aragon that he publish a facsimile edition of the decorated copy. To acompany this new Carmen, Picasso made a drypoint of a picador (...) a lithograph depicting a torero and a pretty Spanish girl. To this, the artist added 4 aquatints (the4th was reserved to the deluxe copies)".
